Callspark provides AI voice agents that answer inbound calls, place outbound calls, capture leads, and book appointments on behalf of businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at callspark.io, our customer dashboard, and the voice agent services we provide. By using Callspark, you agree to the practices described here.
Information You Provide
When you request a demo, sign up for an account, or contact us, we collect the information you submit — typically your name, business email, phone number, company name, industry, and details about your call volume. If you become a customer, we also collect billing information and any configuration you set up for your voice agents (greetings, scripts, business hours, scheduling rules, and similar settings).
Call Data We Process for Customers
When our AI voice agents handle a call on a customer’s behalf, we process the audio of that call, an AI-generated transcript, the phone numbers of the parties involved, call metadata (duration, time, outcome), and any information the caller shares during the conversation (such as their name, contact details, or appointment preferences). This data is processed so we can deliver the calling, transcription, lead-capture, and scheduling features our customers have signed up for.
Call Recording and Consent
Calls handled by Callspark are typically recorded and transcribed. Recording-consent laws vary by jurisdiction. When you use Callspark to place or answer calls, you are responsible for providing any disclosures and obtaining any consents required where you and the other party are located. Our customers configure call greetings and disclosures themselves; Callspark does not independently verify that disclosures meet local legal requirements.
Information We Collect Automatically
When you visit our website or use our dashboard, we automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring URL. We use cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality (keeping you logged in), analytics, and advertising measurement. Specifically, we use Microsoft Clarity for product analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for ad measurement. You can control cookies through your browser, but disabling them may affect functionality.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to provide and operate the service, place and receive calls on behalf of customers, transcribe and analyze those calls, surface results in the dashboard, send notifications about leads and appointments, bill customers for usage, support customers, secure the platform, comply with legal obligations, and improve the product. We may use aggregated and de-identified data — data that no longer identifies any individual — for analytics and service improvement.
How We Share Information
We share information with vendors that help us run the service, including our voice infrastructure provider (Retell AI) for AI voice generation and call routing, cloud hosting and database providers, email and messaging providers, payment processors, and analytics providers. These vendors are bound by contract to use the information only to provide services to us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect the rights, safety, or property of Callspark or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. We do not sell personal information.
Data Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, audit logging, and regular review of our infrastructure. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you in line with applicable law.
Data Retention
We retain account, call, and lead data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When an account is closed, we delete or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it longer (for example, billing records). Customers can also request deletion of specific calls or leads through the dashboard or by contacting us.
Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any message. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. If you are an individual whose information was processed because a Callspark customer used our service to contact you, please contact that customer directly first — they control the data, and we act on their instructions.
International Transfers
Callspark and our service providers operate primarily in Canada and the United States. If you are accessing the service from outside these regions, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries with data protection laws different from your own. By using Callspark, you consent to these transfers.
Children’s Privacy
Callspark is a business-to-business service intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, give additional notice (for example, by email or an in-app banner). Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
